Thank you notes are important for more than just for holidays and birthdays! After reading "Emmaline’s Much, Much Too Big Wings" help your child recognize the special and unique qualities in others by considering positive attributes in people they know. What do they like most about a friend? Is there someone who is always kind to them? Has a sibling or a grandparent been especially nice lately? Perhaps you can even help your child find the goodness in a difficult person to illustrate that there are positive qualities in everyone.
Then choose at least one person to send a special note of appreciation completing the sentence “I’m grateful for you today because…”.
These "Gratitude Grams" are powerful tools for fostering constant appreciation and building positive habits for your family. Enjoy!
